I got the “Henry David Thoreau Award” back in High School for making the most of my six weeks in Mexico and having the best report on the trip, which was pretty much a treatment for a movie dealing with the border issues in Mexico. My mom was very happy I got the award and then made me all his books. I was like, ‘Why would I wanna read about the woods, when I live in the woods???”. That’s like visiting New York, New York Hotel in Vegas when you live in New York.
